cream and cook over meduim high heat until it's reduced by half. Add
bacon. When done, set pan aside. In a frypan, use enough oil to cover the
surface. Heat until a 1-pot shrimp casserole This can be made with any combination of seafood, such as scallops, crab or
lobster. Serve with green beans and endive salad.
In saucepan, bring 1-1/2 cups salted water to boil. Stir in rice; cover and
simmer over low heat for 15-20 minutes or unt Barbecued shrimp salad Dissolve wasabi in warm water. Stir well with spoon to create a smooth
paste. Whisk paste into mayonnaise & add 1 Tbs lime juice. Whish well and
reserve in serving dish. With damp cloth, remove dirt from endive. Slice
heads in half lengthwise. Cheese and chutney spread Combine cheese, chutney and curry powder in a mixing bowl; beat together
adding milk slowly until mixture holds together in a fairly smooth ball.
Roll in chopped green onions. Wrap and store in refrigerator until serving
time.
Makes 10 servi Lentil, garbanzo bean and tomato salad Combine 2-1/2 cups water, lentils, diced carrots, and bay leaf in
heavy medium saucepan. Bring to boil. Reduce heat, cover and simmer
until lentils are just tender, about 25 minutes. Drain; transfer to
large bowl. Cool.
Mix all remaining Garlic shrimp tapas Add oil to large cold pan. Add the garlic and place pan over medium heat. Toast garlic until golden. Add the chili flakes and shrimp. Cook until pink and slightly firm. Add the paprika and cook for a few seconds. Add the sherry and simmer for another Slow cook curried shrimp Put all ingredients except sour cream in Crock-Pot. Cover and cook on Low 5
to 6 hours. Stir in sour cream and heat. Serve over rice.
Suggestion:
Serve with curry condiments: chopped almonds, bacon crisps, boiled eggs.
Sizzling shrimp Peel off the shrimp shell, and clean the black intestine. Butterfly the
shrimp, to make it look better when cooked. Put 2 tbsp of oil into the
frypan, makesure the frypan is hot before put in the shrimp. Put in the
galic(minced), ginger(sliced), a Bubba's beer-batter shrimp Peel shrimp, leaving tails intact, devein, if desired.
Combine flour, cornstarch, and salt. Add beer, butter, ad egg yolk; stir
until smooth.
Pour oil to depth of 2 inches into a Dutch oven; heat to 375. Dip shrimp

Bring all the ingredients to the boil in a fairly large pan. Reduce the
heat. Simmer (with a lid on the pan) for approximately 2 hours. When the
mixture is thick enough, pour the chutney in steril Simply sumptuous shrimp In large skillet, melt butter. Add green pepper, onion and garlic; saute
about 5 minutes. Add tomatoes, clam juice, wine, water and rice. Boil at
medium heat 25-30 minutes until rice is cooked. Add shrimp and clams.
Reduce heat to simmer fo African tomato-avocado-buttermilk soup Puree tomatoes in a food processor or food mill, then press through a sieve
to remove seeds. In a large mixing bowl, beat the pureed tomatoes, tomato
paste, buttermilk, and oil. Toss pureed avocado with 1 tablespoon lemon
juice to hold the color. Spicy shrimp Make the dressing: In a medium bowl mix together the mayonnaise,
horseradish, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, tomato paste, sugar, and
Tabasco sauce. Season to taste with pepper. Add the peeled cooked shrimp
and stir to coat with the dressing.
Shrimp skewers with charred-tomato vinaigrette Prepare barbecue (high heat). Toss shrimp with coarse salt in bowl. Thread
6 shrimp on each metal skewer. Let stand at room temperature 30 minutes.
Meanwhile, cut green onions into 3-inch-long pieces, reserving green tops;
thinly slice tops. Lightly coat Camarones rancheros (ranch-style shrimp) Wash the shrimp thoroughly. Shell and devein. Wash again and dry in paper
towels. Stir-fry in the butter in a medium skillet, with the mashed garlic
added, for 2 or 3 minutes. Add a little salt and pepper but be careful if

one hour in refrigerator (preferably overnight). Bring back to room
temperature and bake at 350 for about 20 minutes for 3 pounds of shrimp or
a little longer for 5 pounds Potato tikki with almond-cilantro chutney Boil potatoes until fork tender. Cool slightly, peel & force through
a coarse sieve to produce smooth mashed potatoes. Add almonds, bell
pepper, jalapeno pepper, lime juice, cilantro & arrowroot. Season
with salt & pepper & mix Zucchini-tomato salad Cut Zucchini into 2 inch strips. Slice Tomatoes. Place Zucchini, tomatoes and chick peas in bowl. Combine remaining ingredients and pour over vegetables. Chill about 2 hours, covered. Stire occasionally. Remove vegetables from dressing to serve.
