Directions: 1 md Onion, finely minced
1 md Green pepper, finely minced
1 ts Clove garlic, finely minced
1/2 ts Ground coriander seed
Knead together the beef, onion, pepper, garlic and salt and pepper. Let
stand 30 minutes to blend flavors. Form into 16 oval balls. String 4 on
skewers alternating with a onion quarter, green pepper quarter and cherry
tomato on each skewer.Grill about 5 minutes until browned, turn and grill
other side. Served with spiced brown rice and a large piece of the flat
Afghan bread.

Sweet & sour meatballs (chat) Mix turkey mince with breadcrumbs, chopped onion, Chinese Five Spice and
seasoning. Make into 16 balls.
Heat oil in a pan, then add onion and saute until starting to soften. Stir
in carrots and green pepper, and cook for 2 minutes.
Add stock, ketchup, dem Sauerbraten klopse (sauerbraten meatballs) Mix beef, milk, crumbs, cloves, allspice, salt and pepper. Form into
meatballs. Brown meatballs in hot oil. Drain off fat. Add 1 cup water,
vinegar, ginger, bay leaf, and brown sugar. Cover and simmer 1/2 hour.
Skim off fat. Remove meatballs and kee Fusilli and meatballs 1. Coat large saucepan with nonstick cooking spray and set over medium-high heat. Saute onion and garlic until soft about 5 minutes. Transfer 2 tablespoons onion mixture to large bowl.
