Simple wild rice stuffed turkey 1. Remove neck, giblets, and liver from body cavity; wash and dry the
turkey.
2. Put the wild rice into a colander and rinse. Transfer to a 4 quart
kettle and cover with 2 1/2 quarts cold water; bring to a boil, reduce
heat and simmer f

Bring all the ingredients to the boil in a fairly large pan. Reduce the
heat. Simmer (with a lid on the pan) for approximately 2 hours. When the

heat. Reuce heat to medium low and let simmer, uncovered, until shallots

whole clove. Bring to the boil, cover and simmer for about an hour. Rub

Simple spanish rice In a saucepan, saute green pepper, tomato and onion in oil until tender. Add rice; cook and stir for 2 minutes. Stir in broth, salt if desired and pepper; bring to a boil. Reduce heat; cover and simmer 25 minutes or until rice is tender. Yield: 2 servings Banana green mango chutney NOTE: Use this basic chutney with your very spicy hot dishes.

Cranberry chutney In a medium saucepan, bring water to a boil. Add cranberries, sugar, brown
sugar, cinnamon, ginger, cloves, celery, and onion. Simmer for 15 minutes.
Add apples and simmer for an additional 10 minutes, or until apples are
