This recipe was given to me by an old friend in Savannah, who told me that
it was a favorite breakfast bread on the plantations.
* The salt, though traditional, may be eliminated if you ch Lemon rice Saute vegetables. Add rice, water, lemon juice. Add salt and lemon zest.

and bring to a boil over high heat. Cover, reduce heat; simmer until beans

cheese and butter; season with nutmeg.
White bread using rice flour Cottage cheese enhances this bread which is hearty and satisfying. Quick rise yeast makes it easy to prepare. Use any of your favorite seeds and nuts to vary the taste.
Combine 1 3/4 C flour, xanthin gum, salt and yeast in a large bowl. Heat cottage chees Hamburger rice Cook rice and brown ground beef. Mix both into 9x13 dish. Add the Soup and milk and mix. Add green peas. Salt and Pepper to taste. Top with 1-2 cups cheese.
Bake 350 for 20 min
If you use the rice while hot you can microwave it till cheese melts 4-5 Shrimp and rice casserole Place rice, cream, and seasonings in pan and bring to boil. Add shrimp and
cool. Refrigerate overnight. Turn into greased casserole and bake at 350
degrees for 45 minutes or until nearly firm.
