beneficial error - I made this cake for Oktoberfest 2005 and I misread the recipe, but it turned out really well! I added 1/2 c vodka, 1/2 c coffee liqueur and 1/2 c water and only sprinkled powdered sugar on top of the finished cake (no glaze). I also had to cook it for 50 minutes. |

Only Russians give their dishes such romantic names. However, the dish is really easy to make, very impressive in both taste and presentation. The combination of meat and tart apples is unexpectedly great. I made it with chicken breast, but will try beef next time. The original recipe calls for pork or turkey fillet. |
