Queen Elizabeth cakes have appeared in cook books coast to coast for many
years. Some claim that the recipe was a favori Citrus Pepper Sorbet Combine 1 1/4 cups of the water with the sugar and heat until the sugar dissolves.
Bring to a boil, remove from heat, and cool to room temperature. Cool in the refrigerator
for 2 hours.
